These are fully handmade amethyst gemstone dangle earrings with bare copper. The copper frames and ear wires were carefully bended into shape by hand and then hammered. I wire wrapped the double-terminated crystal point amethyst beads, 4mm round beads, and silver-plated floral beads then attached them to the teardrop frames.
NOTE: * I purchase the bare copper wire used through Rio Grande Jewelry Supply. The copper is 99.9% pure.
*Copper tarnishes when exposed to oxygen and moisture. This will cause the copper to naturally darken over time. If you'd like to slow this process you can wipe your earrings with a soft cloth after each use and store away in an airtight container.
